Sawtooth Mountain Rainforest Hike & Railway

Board the historic railroad for a short ride to the Denver Trailhead. Experienced guides will accompany you through the dense temperate rainforest, filled with beautiful old-growth western hemlocks. Lookout points provide spectacular views of the raging waters of the Skagway River, the Denver Glacier Valley and the magnificent Sawtooth Mountain Range. There are plenty of opportunities along the way for photographs and wildlife viewing. Guides will provide information on the valley's forest, plants and geology. On the trail, be provided with snacks and water and at the end of the hike you'll be served beverages while enjoying the train ride back to town.

Special Notes
• Participants must be at least 9 years of age, in good physical condition
• Able to walk over uneven and sometimes difficult terrain.
• Dress in layers and hiking boots or shoes with good ankle support are recommended
• Rain gear, lumbar packs and trekking poles are provided
• Passport Required
