Red Light Train & Brothel Experience

Start your adventure with a visit to the world famous Red Onion Saloon and Brothel Museum in scenic downtown Skagway. The fun loving Red Onion Madams will greet you with a garter and you will be free to explore this haunted and historic establishment before it opens to the public. Enjoy a Bloody Mary, Mimosa, or Klondike Coffee while the madams entertain you with the adventurous and lusty tales of the original goodtime girls who used to work in these rooms. You will see the priceless silver dress and many other original artifacts left by the “soiled doves” while learning of the Red Onion's original "doll system". Come explore the halls of this celebrated brothel museum and perhaps catch a glimpse of our resident ghost, Lydia!

As the Madams bid you fond farewell you will board a motor coach for a stunning trip up the White Pass. Listen as your driver/guide regales you with stories of the stampeders who trekked through the pass in search of gold during the Gold Rush. You’ll stop at picturesque points such as Pitchfork Falls and Tormented Valley. Upon arrival in Frasier, BC, step aboard the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad for an unforgettable journey on this famous narrow gauge railroad. This iron trail was built more than 100-years ago through some of the North’s most rugged terrain. Travel on vintage rail cars through the alpine tundra of Tormented Valley to the 2,885 foot White Pass summit and down along the Skagway River Valley back into town. Retrace the original route of the Klondike Gold Rush and embrace the true spirit of 1898 with the experience of a lifetime.

Upon returning to Skagway, you may choose to stop in town for more shopping or transfer to the ship.

Since this tour enters Canada, all guests must carry a passport. Notarized written consent is required for children traveling into Canada without both parents. Please bring photo ID to enjoy beverages at the saloon. Tour order may vary. Portion of tour contains stories related to historic brothel which parents should consider when bringing children.

Unaccompanied Minor Policy: Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
